Deep Commentary
The Buddha teaches that those who preach the Dhamma must also practice it. Preaching isn't just speaking from a podium; Zen masters often used inanimate objects to teach. True preaching requires personal realization. The Dhamma must be lived, otherwise it becomes a dead relic. Practicing the Dhamma means turning inward to destroy ignorance and attain Nirvana, crossing the realm of death.
